Harbour Isles Club Site

Harbour Isles is a 500 dwelling unit residential community south of the city of Tampa and fronting on US 41. It was masterplanned with a system of connecting lakes to maximize the water frontage of most of the lots and also incorporating an amenity center, a recreational vehicle storage and a minor commercial facility.

This office was also responsible for designing the Amenity Center, the Entrance Feature, the Gate House, the Eco park and the writing of the architectural guidelines for the homebuilders and the future homeowners use.

The Amenity Center was designed in an Old Florida style of architecture, with lap siding walls, metal roof and surrounding porches. It incorporates a Multipurpose Room with a Catering Kitchen, a minor Fitness Center, Bathrooms, Office, and a rear Porch. The Porch connects to the Pool Deck with a free form Swimming Pool and a Shade Pavilion.

The Amenity Center adjoins the Eco park, with a meandering lake with wetland species in its shores, a major Bar-B-Q pavilion, Jogging Trails, 3 Fishing Piers with Shade Pavilions and a surrounding undulating berming with abundant landscape that encloses the Park.

As an additional service to the client and the subsquent Home Owner Association, this office chaired the Architectural Contro Commitee, which reviewed for years all the housing product offered by the different homebuiders and all the subsequent home improvements that the homeowners later proposed
